About Us

Established in 1970, Concept Health Systems, Inc. is a not-for-profit, SOl(c) (3), community-based agency centrally located in the design district of Miami Florida, and in central Hialeah. The mission of the agency is to provide evidence-based residential and outpatient behavioral health treatment services, prevention, and intervention services that provide a culturally appropriate, multi-dimensional continuing care model that assists individuals and families in identifying behaviors that are detrimental to the well­ being of themselves, their families and their communities. Our programs and services are driven by an individualized self-sufficiency model that includes employment, continuing education, and community service.

As Miami-Dade County's first licensed provider of substance abuse treatment services for men, women, children, and families, Concept Health Systems, Inc. has treated over 75,000 individuals and families for almost 50 years, has over a 65% successful completion rate and improved the quality of life of over 77% of our clients through employment and self-sufficiency. Our agency continually exceeds the standards set by funding sources and according to programmatic and licensure audits scores within the top five (5) percent of the treatment programs in South Florida in assisting clients to remain drug-free, successfully employed, and productive members of the community. The staff of our programs reflect the communities we serve and in some cases, our treatment, prevention, and intervention services are provided in the language of our neighborhood.
